Troubleshooting after screen/digitizer replacement.

I recently ordered a screen and digitizer to replace broken components. After swapping out the parts, I found that my phone would not power on. I also can't get a charging icon on the screen when I plug it in, but the phone still physically heats up as if it is charging.

Answer this question I have this problem too

The screen digitizer may be faulty or you could have broken it when fixing it. Turn the phone on and press the lock or volume buttons to see if you can hear anything and call the phone to see if you can hear it ringing if you can the you wil need to probably get another digitizer

The phone doesn't turn on at all. Doesn't vibrate or make sound or anything when the power button is pressed. Calling it does nothing either.
