Do I need to wipe the hard drive after install of new logic board

I am going to install a new logic board in our late 2011 15" Macbook Pro, but wondering if I am going to lose everything on the hard drive. When doing the resets will that wipe the hard drive, and is there any way to save the info on hard drive now?

Thanks

Certainly not. Just reset Prams by keeping pressed option+command+P+R at startup until you hear the second chime. That's all, you won't loose any data.

Awesome. Believe it over heated when kids were watching YouTube on a pillow. Apple ran all the diagnostic and said that’s what’s needed.
