How do you change out the DC-IN Port

My DC-IN power input is bad. Need to replace this plug any manual on how to do this?

The DC power jack is soldered to your motherboard/logic board. So replacement requires moderate soldering skills. If you have never soldered before there are a number of good tutorials on how to remove and solder a DC power jack. I would recommend you Google "dc power jack replacement tutorial" and look at several of them till you feel comfortable with what needs done and the tools needed. You will need to remove the motherboard from the laptop prior to replacing the DC jack to accomplish this task here is a guide for the motherboard removal. For installing the DC jack I would recommend using solder paste instead of "solder wire" on a spool, rosin core solder etc... Just my preference it is much easier to work with.
