I replaced all 3 power window motors and regulators except drivers window and now I can't get any of the cigarette lighters to work. Sometimes the cigarette lighter light comes on and sometimes it don't, light on or off, lighter does not work, fuses are good under back seat ?

Hi @lejk2 ,
Besides fuse #65 in the fuse box under the rear seat did you also check fuses #22 & # 23 in the engine compartment fuse block?
This is for a 2002 Cadillac de Ville so hopefully it is the same for your year model.

Thanks very much ! It all started from using a phone charger that came apart and shorted out the cigarette lighter unit. 1st checked the fuses under the back seat witch was ok then replaced the whole front cigarette lighter and light unit , the light would work, cigarette lighter just wouldn't work until you said to check fuses #22 and #23 under hood, top of engine , check and found both 20A fuses to be blowned, I replaced both fuses and now the cigarette lighter works. Awesome and thanks ever so much again.

The underhood fuse block is located in the front of the engine compartment between the windshield washer fluid reservoir and the power steering fluid reservoir on the passenger’s side of the vehicle
Fuse Usage
23 Cigar Lighter
To access the fuses, push in the two tabs located at each end of the fuse block cover.
Relay Usage
58 Cigarette Lighter
Fuse Usage
65 Cigar Lighter
So there are two fuses and a mini relay that control power to the cigarette lighters and you'll need to check them all.

The fuse is in under the hood where you might expect the battery. It’s up in the top right hand area, 20 amp fuse. Albeit, I don’t think that it is the fuse. If it was the fuse it would not work at all. but check the fuse first,
