Can I boot without Speaker Amp

HI all, Just eventually getting into serious IPhone 7 repairs and my first is a phone that got seriously bent. First fault was obvious, it was VDD_MAIN short but man what a burn out. After removing the CPU shield I could see the speaker amp IC (U3301) just fell apart, it was toasted and has burnt off two pins from the IC (A2,B2) which can be jumpered. It also took out coil L3302 and finally the real short was C3326.

After removing all of these the phone now boots as far as the apple logo and hangs (doesn't boot loop) and draws around 150mA.

Question: Is this because speaker amp is no longer in the house? Or is this another fault like the audio IC problem? I have ordered new U3301 IC and coil from China and don't want to mess with components I don't have to but wondered if it should boot like an iPhone 6 or 6S would without such IC. I note that there are i2c lines which makes me wonder? Any thoughts?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thanks for the response to this post, much appreciated. The version of iPhone 7 I have is slightly different to all the schematics I can find and the version of ZXW has the correct layout but no component ID's so its not 100% what I have checked but I have checked every coil in the area you suggested and none are shorted to ground (well the ones I can get to anyway).
