JBL Flip 4 portable speaker. IPX7 waterproof bluetooth dual driver speaker that won the CES Innovation Award 2017.

Why does the audio become distorted then power off?

I’ve had this speaker for about a year and had no problems until recently. Even though it has a full battery, the bass becomes very distorted before it powers off after being played for 5 minutes.

Answer this question I have this problem too

If your JBL Flip 4 is making buzzing, crackling, or distorted noises, see the JBL Flip 4 Makes Crackling Noise problem page for possible problems and solutions.

Considering the age of this speaker, there may be an issue with the woofer. I recommend contacting JBL for this issue. This sounds like it needs to be replaced or may need to be repaired by a JBL professional, as speakers are difficult units to repair.

Yes my 3 Flip 4 speakers had same problem and damaged within 18 months.

Total Rs 24000/- loss of money.

JBL brand has cheated on this model Flip 4. I am losing trust on this brand.

Most likely, the battery is worn out and needs to be replaced.
