What does it mean when my nikon aw1 has a flashing flash on the bottom

So I just messing around with the flash, then suddenly I can't focus when my flash is on and there is a flashing white flash button on the buttom right of the screen. But yesterday I still can use my flash. I started freaking out but it seems it didn't made the camera work.

Help me please :'(
