My iPhone 6s won't turn on after replacing the home button.

Tried holding power and home button down.Tried other combinations of button pushing recommended on Youtube. Do you have to replace the screen when replacing the home button as apple suggest.Or is that just a money for apple repairs.

Try turning it on without the home button I've had them stop the phone from turning on before.

The home button can be replaced without replacing the screen, it's just apple being apple making up stuff.
