My Xbox does not read all of the games after I replaced laser unit

I replaced the laser unit of my Xbox 360S, with the correct part, checking ID stamps an everything. But now on some games I get the message that I must remove the disc and clean it with a soft cloth, although the disc is scratch free and clean, the message remains. But not on all games, some I play.

Can you please advise on a solution? Why does it not read all games?

DVD drives are calibrated in factory, for example the sled rail height and tilt are matched to laser sled tolerances so the beam can be perfectly vertical to the disc. If you unscrewed ANY of the glued-up screws of the rails, you will ruin the alignment for good. Also, laser power and object lens focus/track servo has to be adjusted.

Conclusion, although each sled may be different due to manufacturing tolerances, they should be more or less OK if you don't touch the glued up screws. If you touch them, ruined.

Power adjustment may also be required because no two laser diodes are the same, be careful with it or you may fry the laser. Focus and track servo is not DIY adjustable, you will need to try your luck to get a laser sled that more or less matches your drive.
