iPhone 7+ Homebutton flex repair

So i bought a iPhone 7+ with a not working home button

After i opened the home button cover i immediatelly saw this

Do you think this can be repaired?

If yes how? I tought of buying another iPhone 7 home flex cable, than cuttint it out so the same counter piece with the connector stats and than soldering the contacts

You can find so great repair kits on Aliexpress. You can resolder the home button fairly easily !
