TV defaults to Analog

I have an RCA TV, model number 27V414T. It is an analog and digital TV - it came out right before everything switched to digital.

The problem is, it defaults to analog; and the only way to switch between analog and digital is with the remote. But the remote is broken.

I programmed a generic remote, so I can operate the TV that way, but it won't switch between digital and analog.

Is there a way to get it to default to digital, or am I stuck buying another remote?

I found the answer. I go into the TVs menu, and I choose to scan the channels. Right before the scan is done, it asks me whether it is digital or analog, and antenna or cable. I select digital and antenna, then exit the menu. Problem solved!
