My iPhone wont turn on

I have tried to reset it but when i hold down the home and the power button it displays the apple logo but then turns off straight away. I have tried everything possible and im hoping someone has the answer.

yeah the force reset thing doesnt work and neither does the itunes reset. its like when i turn on my phone it sguts its self down straight away. the screen is on because i can see it light up, its just black
