Cpu butting after 5 sec its freeze
Hi guys
Sorry for my poor English :)
I have the following Mac Pro system:
- Model Identifier: MacPro5,1
- Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
- Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
- Number Of Processors: 2
- Total Number Of Cores: 8
- L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
- L3 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
- Memory: 18 GB
I would like to upgrade from a 2.4 to 3.2
I changed the CPU and I put the 3.2 and it worked but after 5 seconds then it freezes. Is there any firmware for the logic board or am I doing something wrong? Because its boots but then when window come up the mouse stops working and everything freezes.
Is this a good question?
@mayer -Any ideas?
