Wierd lagging horizontel lines

This keeps happening on my macbook, never had any problems with the screen before. What is this? It can go hours without happening and sometimes it happens all the time.

Yes tried it, works on external monitor, no issues there. The problem is that sometimes i can use the mac for hours without having any problems.

What does it look like on a connected external monitor or TV via DisplayPort?

If the external looks OK then you’ll to focus on the internal display and its connection to the logic board.

If the external is showing there same distortion then your logic board is having problems and needs to be replaced.
