MagSafe connector not charging or supplying any power.

I was using my macbook last night just fine however I returned back from work today to find it won’t charge or take power. The battery and the system is still Operative for now. I had my book sitting on AC vent unit not sure if realveant however I have tried SMC reset a few times and

another MagSafe connector neither worked. I also cleaned out the port for any possible debris

Are you getting a green/orange light on your charger or is there no light at all?

No lights at all, however the battery is still functioning

Unfotunatly it’s most likely your charging circuit, in most cases the chip isl6259 has been damaged. I would sent you macbook to a place that does microsoldering to troubleshoot the issue.

After further investigation I determined the fuse that connects to the the MagSafe port on the MacBook has been fried. However no other noticble damage on the logic board was discovered and the part is easily replaceable.

So all in all not that bad of damage.

Try using a different charger since that could be the problem. It might be a battery issue but that isn't likely. If these suggestions don't work then I would try taking it to Apple, and seeing what they say.

I have tried another charger nothing happend it’s odd to me though that the battery is kicking out power but the MagSafe has no reading once so ever. I figure something fried on the logic board that has to do with power system because nothing else is registering as problematic to me
