Power adapter as power source

Hey i got my MacBook Pro early 2011 13". So my MacBook battery is need to be replace. That thing is only get turn on when i'm plugging the adapter, and when i'm removed the adapter the MacBook turned off. My question is, is it okay to using the MacBook with the original power adapter as power source? It will damage the logic board? I'm using it just for Ms. Word, spotify and browsing. Thx in advance

It will run just fine off the mag-safe adapter.

so it's safe right? for logic board and the other hardware's. Btw i shutted down my mac safely, not just unpkug the charger
