How to change top case and motherboard at home , cheap

I got an email today from the workshop that i needed to change motherboard and topcase. There is no way i will pay 9000nok or 1084 usd for them to change it.

I need help on where i can get the pieces i miss for a much cheaper price, and how i can do this at home please.

I will send pictures when i get it home from the shop, According to the shop it was liquid damage on it. I still remember i used it one night and next morning it wouldnt start. So i sent it in.

No physical damage apart from some scratches on the edges.

More info/ pic will come.

If you have to replace those parts, you do better by just selling the display on eBay and buying a new machine.

Can you fill us in on what happened. I would hate to have you go through all of this and still not get a working system at the end. If there is any physical damage take some pics if liquid damaged you'll need to open the system up so we can see whats up and likely will need to take the logic board out as well and take some additional snaps.
