Entering DFU might help. While iPad is turned off and connected to PC. Press Power button and Home button for 3 seconds until you hear a disconnect sound from your PC. Now Press Power for 3 seconds. After that press Home button but dont let go power button and count 10 seconds. And last let go of the power button and keep pressing on the home button for 15 seconds (or less). If you hear the Connect sound. You're now in DFU mode (Device Firmware Upgrade). It's a black screen. It may look dead but give it a shot. Restore it with iTunes. DFU mode can help avoid these errors.
