Trying to Fix liqid damage laptop-100% Alcohol cleaning does not work!

I am trying to fix my friend Hp Omen gaming laptop.

It is liquid damaged and it is not working I dont have the original Charger(150W) I have charger for dell (65W). They both are looking same and fitting well.

I cleaned all motherboard and put everything back..

When I plug this charger in nothing happened it is not even charging battery. I have watt meter, I used it to check if any thing goes in nothing at all :S.

Any suggestions.

I will have to fix the keyboard as well new keyboard will cost a lot so I am thinking alcohol bath.

Sorry if I my grammar is bad.

Thank you.

Hmm. Do any of the lights come on when the laptop is off and the charger is plugged in?

Try removing the power adapter and the battery from the laptop and press in the power button for 10 seconds. After that 10 seconds, release your finger from power button. Wait 30 seconds and then put the battery back in and see if it boots. Some HP laptops use this procedure as a hard reboot. If this doesn't work, try removing the battery and the ram, wait 30seconds and try starting the machine.

Even if the laptop does not fully turn after these tests, keep a note of any lights that come on during these tests and if the fan spools up at all. Good luck.

What would you suggest me in this situation Anthony change the Power dc cable buy new adaptor or ? I am sure even coffee or other liquids can not damage that much and I cleaned it with alcohol.

Thank you for your time Anthony

I am afraid there is no light. I am thinking it could be DC power Jack ....

I tried both methods but non worked :( looks like there is no electric going in.

I am thinking maybe the adapter I am using

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Dell-In...

Which is 65w and The laptops adaptor is 150W but same V only A is lower it should still give light right ?

In the past I tried 45 W adaptor for 170W laptop it was charging the battery so light come on.

Looks like only options is left changing the DC but not sure !

My precision class laptop (requires a 180w psu) will not illuminate the charging led when a 65w psu is plugged in, even when the laptop is off. When plugged into my laptop, a 65w psu flashes the battery charge led for about 2 seconds and immediately shuts off. I checked it with a power meter and the 65w charger was pulling 0.5w, indicating it was not charging the battery in my laptop, even though the battery was partially depleted.

Thank you I checked it nothing coming :( There is no light coming as well.

I checked the motherboard again if there is any liquid oxidisation left nothing I can see. Do you think should I buy new DC power jack ? I read something online they said hp and dell has some specific thing inside motherboard or adaptor so even the socket fit it wont work but there sould be power going and nothing on watt M
