Headphones not being recognized

Hello,

So when i plug my headphones into my phone, the sound comes from both the headphones and the phones speakers, i tried the same headphones in a different phone and they worked fine, so i thought it might be the head jack in the phone is broken, but then i tried my other headphones in my phone and they worked fine, any help in this issue would be appreciated
