No vibration or sound from my iPhone whatsoever
I bought a new screen replacement for my iPhone. When I replaced it, I unfortunately messed up and ripped both the front facing camera/proximity sensor strip and the home button strip. I messed up bad, no functioning ear piece or home button. But in addition to this, I now have NO volume or vibration whatsoever from my dual speakers at the bottom or any kind of vibration of any kind. When I open the music app, the volume slider is greyed out, when I turn down/up on the volume rockers the little white squared volume indicators are gone too. It’s just a plain square with the bell logo and the text “ringer” at the top. No volume indicators. Headphones don’t work either, it’s almost as if the phone got rid of the sound driver. I am wondering if buying a new Taptic Engine or speaker piece will solve this problem or if I possibly shorted the circuit. I reset all settings and completely restored my phone to new with the same problem so I don’t think that it’s a software problem. Please help!
Is this a good question?
