new screen cables, digitizer cable and the rest won't plug in. HELP

purchased a new screen but the last step on putting the cables back together won't plug in .Help please

Hey David!

You shouldn't need to force it. If it's not connecting it could be a couple things:

1) Make sure the screen purchased is the correct LCD. Match up the connectors with the old one, they should look exactly the same. It's easy to confuse the iPhone 6 with the 6S. The parts are not compatible.

2) check to see that there's nothing blocking the connection on both the board and the flex itself. Any physical debris in the connector will make it difficult to attach.

3) double check that you're attaching to the correct connector! They look fairly similar, so use a online guide for reference to be sure you're connecting each flex to the correct connector on the motherboard.

Also inspect both the cable ends and the logic board connectors (for the screen), to see if any of the prongs have been damaged or bent.
