Touch ID causing ghosting

Hey,

I replaced the screen on an iPhone 7. After the repair the phone cut on and seemed fine. But when trying to login it begins to ghost and type random numbers, I also noticed the issue became worse when pressing the home button. So I remove the connectors make sure they are seated right and re connected them. Still the same issue, so removed the camera and proximity sensor connector and booted it back up. Still the same issue. However, if I leave the home button unconnected it boots up normal with no issue(other than the Touch ID not working). Could the Touch ID be causing the screen ghosting? Could it possibly be the bad Touch ID cable coming from the display?

Thanks for any help!

Hi t.kennedy1993,

in my opinion there is a bad Touch ID Flex. Try a new display - this will presumably solve your problem.
