My iPhone 6 wont charge after battery replacement

changed my iphone 6 battery becuase it was only lasting for 2 hours, after i was done with replacement, phone powered on and everything but the battery came dead and it turned on when i plugged it in but it wouldn't charge. Every minute or so it would restart also

Hi Brady,

When you replaced the battery, which guide did you use? I recommend to follow this guide here on ifixit.

Here is what I would also check on/do:

(1) I would first check if the battery cable is correctly attached (that is, even) to the connector.

Then:

(2) Turn the iPhone off (with the charging cable attached and plugged in) and turn it on again

(3) Now allow the new battery 3 to 4 hours to be charged. This is a way of trouble shooting in order to see if during that time the battery is being charged or not.
