Phone is dead due to charging cable burnt

I put my iPhone on charging in car USB socket through original charging cable while it was having 16% charging and the car charging USB socket was bit loose. After few minutes it slightly burnt the cable near power connector and phone shuts down. After that phone is not getting ON neither its getting charged and dead. what issue it could be? and how it could get on or repair?

You would need to get the charger port replaced.

I have visited the repairer he replaced the battery but the phone was still dead and didn't get on neither it get on upon charging while removing battery. I think if there is an issue in charging port then it should get on upon new battery but it didn't.

If the power cable is burnt there is a good chance that the tri-star chip is burn’t on a board in the phone I think it is a battery management IC. Cost $200 plus to replace it. Their is an IC in the cable & the cheap cables don’t have a voltage surge protection to prevent this from happening.
