iPhone 6 no power after drop
Hi,
I have a iPhone 6 that won't power on after a drop.
I opened it up, had no VCC_MAIN short, but had a PP3V0_NAND short, found the capacitor that was causing it and now when I plug in the DCPS instead the battery I get a draw of 0.010A before prompt to boot, after prompt it draws around 0.150A for a second, then goes to 0.010, and then loops the whole time. I can't find any shorts or bad data lines. The PP1V8_ALWAYS is stable, but all other voltages (PP3V0_TRISTAR, 1V8_SDRAM, 3V0_NAND...) come and go the same as the power supply is showing, ON for a second, then OFF and repeat. The computer doesn't recognize the phone and can't get to DFU or recovery. When I leave the phone running like that the PMIC and CPU are get warm but nothing crazy hot. I am lost on this one, any ideas?
Thanks
Is this a good question?
