My analog headphone jack is in need of repair.

I listen to music quite frequently and apparently it's enough to wear out a lot of earbuds. But as a first, I've also damaged(somehow) my headphone jack in both my old Xperia Z2 and my new Xperia Z5 Pro. There aren't any guides for the Z5 Pro yet and I still use my old Z2 for music, So I'll stick with the Z2 for now.

What I'd like to know is how can the headphone jack for analog audio output be replaced or repaired?

If I need to I'll even buy the necessary tools from your store, so long as you ship to Canada.

Hi serenityprim3

I understand ifixit might not have a guide on some devices but you can try to google more or find some youtube videos on it. Hopefully you are able to find the instructions, but IMO more or less the disassembly should be around there.

You can try following the ifixit guide to disassemble your phone and while doing this, also take note and replace the defective audio jack.

What I can suggest you, is to order the audio jack parts from ebay or aliexpress.

I would suggest you remove the defective parts first and compare with the seller pictures, which i did it for other devices before committing to purchase the replacement parts.
