After battery replacement touchscreen wont work!

Hello guys!

I've just done a battery replacement for the galaxy s6. It went smoothly.. placed a new battery inside and closed it right up as new. When i booted my phone... the touchscreen does not work!?!? power button and the home button work because when i place my thumb on it, it responds.. but the screen is not working whenever im swiping with my finger...

Can someone please explain why? did i damage something when i was replacing the battery or did a cable unplug while i was putting the phone back together?

Thank you

Screen turned black after i opened it yesterday. checked all the connectors and everything was A OK.

Brought it today to a specialist. He took my motherboard and put it in another galaxy s6 screen and the screen worked... He gave me a second used screen for €40... Its okay now..

Its time for me to find new phone.. I'm just happy i have all my stuff back.

Hi RayRay101,

It seems unlikely that you broke the display assembly during the battery replacement. Go ahead and carefully take the back cover off. Check all the connectors (especially this one) to see if they are securely and completely in place.
