iPhone 5s vibration motor not working after battery replacement

Hi! I just replaced my sister's iPhone 5s battery and the vibration motor doesn't seem to work anymore. I've already replaced my iPhone 5s's battery and it works flawlessly.

Thoughts? A vibration motor replacement is pretty cheap.

Did you remove the screen when you replaced the battery?

Yes. Would that pinch a cable or something?

Most likely the ear speaker is pushing against the motor itself, open it up and have a look. That should fix it. The vibration should work with the screen lifted and that way you know that's what is causing it

by

Nope, didn't work. Any other suggestions?

by

Just to confirm the vibration didn't work with the screen lifted and the motor wasn't being touched by anything?

Do the volume buttons work ok?
