Why won't my computer turn on?

I had a program running last night and when I woke up this morning my computer wasn't on. I attempted to turn it on and nothing happened. The battery is fully charged and the computer still won't turn on. When I plug in the MagSafe cord the lights (green or orange) don't come on. I've tried an SMC reset but that didn't help anything. I know this is a vague question, but what could be the issue? Thanks for your help.

If you get no lights on your MagSafe adapter, it has most likely gone bad. You can test it with a multimeter. Test pins 2 & 4 for voltage. They should be 16.5 VCD. Here's a pin out on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagSafe

The adapter itself works. I tested it out on another MacBook Pro. The computer won't turn on and that's the problem. The battery is fully charged and, when I press the power button, nothing happens.

Did the lights work on the magsafe with the other computer?

Try removing the battery and disconnecting the magsafe and holding down the power button for 5 seconds. Do you get anything when trying to start up, lights, sounds? If nothing, remove the hard drive and start up from your system installation DVD.

The logical next step is replacing the MagSafe board. Please give us the last three letters of your serial number so we can get you to the correct part and guide.

Yes, the lights worked when testing the power cord with the other computer. I've already tried an SMC reset. How will trying to start up from the system installation DVD work if the computer isn't turning on at all? Unfortunately, I think it's the logic board and/or the MagSafe board.
