I bought a new battery for my 2004 Suzuki xl 7 and now when I lock or unlock it, some doors unlock or some door lock but it never all either way. It never did it before the battery change. What could the problem be?

Hi,

To clarify, which battery are you talking about? The car battery or the car key fob battery.

When you say 'some' doors, which doors? Is it always the same door(s) or is it random which ones lock/unlock?

Try reprogramming the key fob to the car and see if this resolves the problem

Have the alternator checked. Maybe it is only running from the new battery, which is not a good thing. When the car engine is running, power is generated by the alternator to run the car and replenish the car battery.

Add an additional ground from the computer to the chassis and see if that fixes your problem.
