One Screen Works, Rest Do Not

I have an iPhone 5S (A1453) that had the touch go out in it, but display worked fine. Replaced it with another supplier's screen and didn't work. Tried a total of about 6 screens (all aftermarket) and they would show no display. Got a replacement iFixIt screen in and while it shows display it has this problem:

I tried an OEM/Premium screen, no display except for showing the charging cable icon as the battery died. Other than that, nothing. Screen and backlight only works with specific screens. Any ideas?
