My MacBook won’t power on after spilling a smoothie on it.

A long while ago, about a year ago I spilt a smoothie on my mbp. It completely died, and didn’t turn on, but 3 moths later, a miracle happened, and it turned on and worked almost perfectly, except when I u plunged the mag safe it instantly died. 3 months after that, I unplugged my mag sage by accident and of course the MacBook Pro died. I tried turning it back on, and of course it wasn’t working. I brought to the apple store, and they couldn’t help me. They had no idea what had happened. Now to this day I am wondering if it’s just a battery issue, because now I plug in my Mac and no colour lights up ok the cable (I’ve tried other cables) or if my Mac is completely destroyed. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

To little info to tell you much here.

Clearly, the smoothie did not get cleaned out of the system when it happened which was a big mistake. Depending what was in it: Salt, Sugar, Acids or Protein you could have corrosion, bacteria or mold all of which damage electrical components and the circuitry.

So you'll need to open the system do a detailed inspection (take some good pics of anything that looks damaged). You'll need to remove the logic board as there is more on the other side which is more likely to be damaged by the spill. You'll need to spot treat the areas with distilled water and cotton swabs. For the stubborn areas us a soft toothbrush and be careful you don't pull up any of the small components! Then take another set of pics of the areas and post all of them here for us to see.
