My computer is frozen on the background and mouse disappeared.

I really don’t know about the whole “Retina display” and “unibody” but I know that something’s up with my computer! The screen to be exact.. you see, I was watching youtube on full screen then when I pressed esc to go out of it, something happened. The screen froze on the background screen, the mouse won’t appear and the keyboard won’t respond.. any advice? I’ve tried restarting.. but it only appeared on the screen, due to the mouse being gone I couldn’t do anything. So please.. help!

Many years ago I had to take a freighter to get home from Europe (9/11) on the way to the Boston we stopped in Reykjavík for 3 days. While I wasn't in the mood to be a tourist at the time, I was impressed with the city's beauty and the people.

As a complete stranger, I was invited to join a family for dinner. Given what had happened the days before. They were very kind and I was grateful for their hospitality.
