Why won't my MacBook charge after a screen replacement?

I recently changed out my broken screen for a new one using the guide that ifixit.com provided. The screen works perfectly, but now the computer will not charge. It was charging prior to the fix and I have tried multiple outlets. Before I go out and by a new charger, is there anything I could have messed up during my repair that would have caused this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi bluehair0017,

Does your laptop still work (but isn't charging) when you plug it into the charger? If so, it is at least working partially.

Before you buy a new charger, check these guide steps. They involve disconnecting and reconnecting the battery system to the laptop, so perhaps something is misconnected.
