replacement batteries and iOS 11.3.1

Now that the iOS 11.3.1 update has dropped, is anyone seeing any improvement with the functionality of replacement batteries ? I hesitate to replace the one in my daughter's iPhone 6s until I know for sure I won't cause worse problems (Apple's website says the device is not eligible for their $29 replacement).

If you buy good quality batteries from a reputable vendor, you shouldn't have any issues. It's the bottom-dollar stuff on eBay and Amazon which are generally problematic. With a good supplier, they will stand behind their products and replace or refund as necessary.
