Touchscreen acting weirdly after battery replacement.

Hello!

I changed my iPhone 5s battery with a iFixit battery and the phone is working fine but the touch is acting weirdly..

If I leave the phone locked for over 10 seconds and then try to open the phone the touch will not respond but if I lock the phone again and start it after 1 second the touch works fine :o

The phone randomly swipes and starting apps sometimes when I open the phone after it has been locked for 10 seconds.

I cannot anwser calls now..

Screws are on the correct places and cables is not damaged.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Either the screen needs to be replaced, connectors on the logic board need to be cleaned with a brush and if possible 99% isoproyl alcohol.

Worst case scenario would be damaged screen connectors.

I have done all of that.. :(

I opened up the phone again and took a look, every connector looks brand new.

Yeah unfortunately the screen sounds like it needs replacement.

Did you remove the screen during the battery replacement or have it lying back? Because if these cables get bent too much you get these issues.

I removed the screen and did not lift up the screen more than 90 degrees.

I've had small problems with the touch before and screen lifting from the metalbody but it got so bad now that I could not use the phone anymore so I bought a new screen.

The new screen is not as vibrant as Apples screens but what the heck, I will be using this 5s untill there comes something on the market that I want. (hopefully not too long in the future)
