iPhone 7 plus screen Rotation is messed up.

I have a problem with my screen orientation... it almost seems like the phone thinks it is always upside down, I just did an ultrasonic clean and was wondering if anyone else has seen something like this on a 7 plus.

There is a chance I put some screws in the wrong place, or there is a chance the Gyroscope chip is bad. Any guidance is appreciated!

The strange part is that the background still does the rotation effect when you tilt the phone. Not sure what to fix on it.

Options

The ultrasonic cleaner may have damaged the Gyro and/or Compass IC. I have had this happen before on the iPhone 6S and other tech have noticed similar issues as well. I never noticed this on the iPhone 6 series though.

Check the Compass App to see if that works okay. If it does, then it's probably just the Gyro IC. This can be replaced but requires a micro-soldering repair and is not DIY.

I can confirm this is what was going on. I tried out a chip from a parts phone and most likely killed the chip in the process. Now I am looking for a us source for these chips
