My phone is locked out

I have the lastest iTunes but when I plug my phone it it tells me it isn’t the news one so I download it again and it keeps telling me it’s not the newest so it sticks me in a cycle.

Idk how to get past it.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Righty then, does iTunes itself say it's outdated? or does Apple Software Update say it, if not use Apple Software Update on your PC to update iTunes and/or check for latest version.

iPhone 5s and up are compatible to IOS11.3

Try to delete iTunes completely off your pc. Download the link off the apple site and if that doesn’t work hard reset the phone and start it up without iTunes

Is it saying that *iTunes* is not the latest version, or *iOS* on your iPhone is not the latest version?

-Plug in your device

-fully power down your device.

-Press and hold power button until you see the apple logo.

-Without releasing the power button, Press and Hold the home button

-Continue holding both buttons ontil the screen goes black

-When the screen goes back, release the power button, but continue holding the home button.

-Continue to hold the home button until you see "Installing device drivers" on your PC

The phone is now in DFU mode. run a restore on your phone from here. instead of maintaining its current core files, it will download and extract a wnole new operating system onto your phone, which will remove any bugs in the programming.

(BE ADVISED: This will erase all of your data on your device)
