Piecing together my own iPhone

I would like to build my own iPhone using a slightly damaged iphone. i need to replace the back shell, and everything inside except the logic board, the camera, the headphone jack, and the battery. the front display is going to be replaced (lcd, speaker, home button and all).

any advice or what to look out for?

Just make sure you use items specific for that logic board. LCD, digitizer, dock connector will all be phone specific. They do not interchange with each other. Sometimes started from the inside out is a huge headache, but if you have the right parts, and know what you're doing you should be okay. Good luck!

PS: be careful with the #3 connector and #3 ribbon ;)
