Can I add more RAM to an Early 2015 MacBook Air?

I just bought a used Early 2015 MacBook Air with 4GB of RAM. Can I upgrade it to 8GB?

Hi Scollay,

According to this picture, the RAM is soldered onto the same board with the flash memory. It would not be easy to replace the RAM only.

As @arthurshi stated, the MacBook Air systems all have soldered RAM.

You could swap out the logic board with one that has more RAM. Review this guide which lists the different boards: MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement.
