flipping CFI breaker at turn on

As soon as SB Barista is turned on flips CFI breaker. What is the common problem for this short. I was going to take apart but think it may be heating element gone bad. Flips breaker upon turn on, no steam or coffee just ON. How do I check and where do I get parts?

Daniel Borreson start by testing your heating element using this guide Testing the Starbucks Barista Heating Element Work your way up from that. Check your wiring and other components visually for obvious damage (molten insulation, darkened components etc.) post some images of what you find with your question so that we can see what you see.
