Having trouble fixing front facing camera

Struggled for a while now because I can’t find any other way this would work, I’ll attach some pictures to show what I mean, the speaker is meant to fit in the black socket but there is a piece of cable, I assume it is for the sensor blocking the earpiece fitting in, I have tried to manoeuvre it in ways that still work but I can’t find anything that allows room for the speaker to fit in. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

The problem you have is that your replacement screen doesn't have the Camera Holder and probably doesn't have the Sensor Holder as well. Those holders are important as they "hold" everything in place and allow you to fold over the flex for a proper final assembly. Take a look at this guide in general but specifically Step 21 to see the holders. Lower cost aftermarket screens some times don't have these holders pre-installed. They can be ordered separately so all is not lost.
