Can SIM ejector tool damage top mic if inserted into mic hole?

Hi,

Can the top microphone be damaged by inserting the SIM ejector tool (pin) to the hole with the mi and applying some pressure to it? I ask, because I didn't manage to find the information how the microphone tunnel ends (solid material, membrane, metal, plastic etc).

I've made some mic tests. The top microphone seems to work fine, although the gain level is slightly smaller (the noise level is the same), comparing to the bottom one, which (I hope) was not touched.

Don't ask my how did it happen :-(

It is better not to leave "hammer and nails next to each other" when kid is in the room.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?
