Replaced screen on Surface Pro 4, digitizer works but screen doesnt!

I replaced the cracked screen on the Surface Pro 4. Although the screen was shattered, the screen still worked perfect previously. I removed the screen and bought a screen replacement. I did the screen switch following many instructions online, but the screen didn't turn on. I thought maybe the replacement screen was defective or the flex ribbon cable might be bad, or something, I got a new Flex screen cable and I got an additional new screen. Replaced both and the screen still doesn't turn on. The computer is still working perfectly (I connected it via HDMI out to a big screen), the Wifi & bluetooth antenna is still working, the digitizer works (i can select things with my hands), but the screen doesn't turn on at all.

TLDR: Screen replacement attempted. Computer works, digitizer works, replaced 2 different screen and one Flex ribbon display cable and screen doesn't turn on.

I’m having the same problem when I replacing the screen of my SP4 #1704 to SP4 #1796’s, which is LG LP123WQ1. I don’t want to but old Samsung screen because it has flaws. The seller knows my needs and sent me a SP5’s screen including a new connector for LG-screen SP4 model. But now the new screen also not turning on while Microsoft RD can access access the device and digitizer is working.

After replacing the screen to the old one which is Samsung LTY123YL01, it works though it’s showing broken image.

Looking for people who suffered the same issue.

I am suffering the same issue here on an SP4 after replacing a cracked screen. The new screen and flex cables work on a different SP4 but not on this particular SP4. While plugged into a display port unto a projector, everything works, even touch screen (although only in drag mode). Is it possible that something got fried on the motherboard? I desperately need a fix.
