An thirty-party fixed iPhone 8 get touch problem in IOS 11.3?

I've heard from somewhere that if an iPhone 8 replaced the lcd screen by a thirty-party repair sotre that could cause a touch issue under IOS 11.3 systerm,Has anyone found this problem already,do you guys know how to solve this problem?

But some of our customers they didnt meet this issue by using our iPhone 8 screens,is it a probabilistic issue just like the similar issue "error 5.3" on iPhone 7 last year.

Does anyone knowing that? Thanks for any answer.

Issue is caused by the display chip (IC) on the screen needing to be reprogrammed to match OEM screen info.

Only the screen manufacturers / suppliers can reprogram the screen.

Anyway I just had to sent back all my iPhone 8 and 8+ screens yesterday to get them reprogrammed from the manufacturer.

Hi Ben,thanks for answering me,I've just confirmed with our technician staff and knew that the problem is exactly what you told. For those our customers who didnt meet this issue is because our team already reprogrammed immediately since the issue came out, that's why they're still working good.

This is a terrible it 's gonna waste your time and increase your cost, even the shipping cost. Thank you so much

Yeah unfortunately it can't be avoided at the moment. My supplier has said the same, also other issue is when customs at airport may confiscate the screen as my screen manufacturer resides in china.

We can only hope a software update fixes this issue otherwise.

I have this issue 2 days ago with an iPhone 8 Plus. I had bought a replacement screen on Aliexpress.

After completing the replacement, I tested the display and touchscreen and everything was ok until I switch off the phone. After switching it on, touchscreen was disabled . I realized that this was an iOS 11.3 after reading that on the Internet. I reinstalled the old screen from Apple ( which was a bit damaged) and then I could not pass the Apple Logo or recovery screen. I was not able to restore the previous iOS version. Disgusting from Apple. I will not buy IPhone again. Before it was throttling iPhone 6. Now this . No really . I don’t want anything todo with this type of company.
