I installed an 8gb + 2gb now my mac restarts on its own!

MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012

Mid 2012 model, A1278 / 2.5 GHz i5 or 2.9 GHz i7 processor.

I installed one 8gb ram stick in one slot and left 2gb in the other. Now when i turn my mac on it restarts its self over and over. How do i fix this?

I'm not sure its because you have an 8gb +2gb. What speed / brand did you put in the laptop.

This generation MBP is extremely sensitive to speed/brand. For example I had problems with some 1600mhz Corsair brand RAM.
