Why is my phone taking itself off of vibrate?

My phone will turn the vibrate off randomly. I work for a Doctor so we have to keep our phones silenced. Several times throughout the day my phone will switch back to sound mode. I assume it is a Samsung issue because I had an S7 Edge, that was doing the same thing, but I recently upgraded and the new phone is doing it also!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I have a Galaxy S10e and it has only done it for the last 2 phone updates. I won't even be touching my phone - it has done this 10 times in the last 5 minutes- and the tone saying it's on volume goes of. I can't find the adjustment anywhere in my settings.

if your work schedule forbids it, why not turn on Do Not Disturb for your schedule? this will help.

I do not have this issue with my S8 plus, so it is highly likely a setting in your device, be it through favorited contacts, or through timers, and systems, or you turn the volume up to watch a video too early, and its not registered as media volume yet. These are the most common reasons this happens.

It does it even when in Do Not Disturb mode unfortunately.

Hi @Ashley Borger

Try the following and check if the vibrate stays on.

Wipe the cache partition and check it it now stays enabled.

Start the phone in safe mode and check. If it stays on in safe mode then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. A downloaded app is one that you installed on the phone and wasn’t pre-installed on the phone when you got it.
