I need to repair my camera ,it is the lens that moves to extend but it is going back aagain .The screen is working and it show error to turn it off and on again but after i did that it still the same, please aswer me to fix it i knew that it is asimple problem and i may be to clean the lens but please tell me the steps

Have you got a repair manual for a kodak m340?? Or any clue of pinout for lens flex in m models to check comparability? Just being cheeky! Trying to fix our shoot and go..
Of all the camera service manuals I've got, you are looking for the tougher one to get. Still looking :-)
champion...if you've got any of the m series I'm sure they're pretty similar. I've torn it apart.. but am now trying to fix the lens/zoom flex. I repaired my kodak z650 camera by replacing the lens assembly with a c740, just swapped over the image capturing part (can't remember the technical name) and i'm pretty sure I can do that here. I think the only differences with these cameras is the part that i can't name which controls megapixels etc.there are few extra or less pins on the flex.
