MacBook wont turn on at all
my macbook wont turn on at all, as soon as a i try to turn it on, it shuts down, how can i fix this?

Please remove the battery and power cable and hold down the power button for ten seconds, then replace the MagSafe adapter only and try starting. What does the light on the MagSafe do, what color? Would you give a history on the machine along with the last three letters of your serial number.

thanks for the help but it still doenst turn on, the light turns on then goes off. and well i had it since 2006 and havent had any problems with it till now. and the last three letters are WGL

Wendy, for me to help you you have to talk to me and tell me all the symptoms which include lights, sounds, smells, how far does it get when booting up? Do you get anything on the screen? Do you have access to another Mac? Try removing the hard drive and starting up from the system installation DVD by inserting the disk and holding down the "C" key while powering up. Hi there, Mayer is correct. More complete info is needed, your machine might can be restored but a full complete history trail must be given first. In other words, did you have anything replaced on it (battery, ribbon cable, top cover, screen, etc). You must have patience in dealing with these units, you have a completely different ANIMAL here. It's nothing like a PC therefore, you need more patience and more detailed accurate info is necessary to help resolve this if possible.

hi i am sorry for the delay. but my mac does turn on once it is connected with the charger but once i disconnect the charger it turns off. and yes i went to the apple store and got the keyboard, top cover, pretty much all the outside replaced. and i have tried removing the battery but it stay the same.
